Every time Janhvi Kapoor appeared in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (SSKTK) Icouldn’t help but picture Alia Bhatt instead.
The latter's early years gave us the breezy Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), both directed by Shashank Khaitan. Neither was flawless but they captured young love ina compelling way.
Watching Shashank’s latest, I realised what I miss the mostiis the emotional pull those films had.
