Many UPSRTC projects to see light of the day this year

Pending for months now, various development projects of the UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) are all set to see the light of day in 2025.

They include technological additions to safety and tracking mechanisms, hiring of contractual workers, addition of a number of and a lot more.

New buses, recruitment of drivers, conductors Recruitment of contractual drivers and conductors is in the process for which second phase of testing has been recently completed.

The UPSRTC is recruiting 7,188 drivers and over 1,500 conductors across four zones at selected bus depots and driving centres. All these posts will be filled within a month or two.

Also a number of new buses will be added to the fleet of 13,000 buses already in operation. The corporation has received funding for over 3,000 new buses to be added to the manager (IT), UPSRTC, Yajuvendra Singh.
