LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said the state government is working on the principles of 'sabka saath-sabka vikas'. "Our thinking is not communal. We are working for the development of all without any discrimination," he added.

Taking part in the discussion on the annual budget 2025-26 in the legislative assembly on Tuesday, the CM said there was no discrimination in Mahakumbh. Breaking the caste, region and religion barrier, the people from over 100 countries and across the country participated in the mela. The Mahakumbh turned out to be a blend of tradition and progress, Yogi said. Hitting out at the Samajwadi Party, he said, "The countdown for the opposition has begun as the people have stopped listening to its leaders. The opposition parties spread misinformation on Mahakumbh mela but failed to shake the faith of the people."
