Hi-tech JPN Library to be completed by May 31

The city's largest advanced technology library, named the JPN Library which has been under construction at Mandir Marg for the last four years, is one of the top priorities of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and is likely to be finished by May 31, council officials said.
NEW DELHI:
The project to develop the library in New Delhi with the help of the ministry of culture has been listed among the 100 priority projects scheduled for completion this year, the officials added. The project has already missed its August 2024 deadline.
The council has expedited work after receiving additional funds for the second phase of the construction, which includes civil work, furniture, and fire-fighting installations, bringing the total project allocation to approximately ₹14.6 crore.
