Rupani's Last Rites Held With Full State Honours

Former Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani was accorded a state funeral on Monday, four days after the 68-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party leader died in an Air India plane crash along with 270 other people, with hundreds of people, including senior politicians, paying floral tributes to him.
AHMEDABAD:
Union home minister Amit Shah, Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat, chief minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Jal Shakti Minister and Gujarat BJP president CR Paatil, and other leaders offered floral tributes to Rupani at his residence.
