Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met the family of Shubham Dwivedi, one of the 26 people killed in the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, assuring them of the government's support and that the nation would forever honour his sacrifice.

KANPUR:

Modi met Shubham's family — parents Sanjay and Seema and wife Aishanya — at the Chakeri Air Force Station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Shubham, a Kanpur-based businessman, was with family in Pahalgam, just two months after his marriage on February 12, when terrorists shot him during the ghastly incident.
