GMDA gets govt nod for 3 out of 5 infra projects

AS PART OF THE SECOND PHASE OF THE CCTV CAMERA PROJECT, GMDA PLANS TO INSTALL 2,272 CAMERAS AT 258 LOCATIONS IN VARIOUS SECTORS OF THE CITY
GURUGRAM: The Haryana government's high-powered purchase committee which met on Monday, has approved three out of the five infrastructure projects, which were proposed by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), officials aware of the matter said.
A senior GMDA official said that the committee held a meeting chaired by chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, in which the projects pertaining to installation of CCTV cameras in the city, building a 66kva electric substation at Basai and construction of cycle tracks on a sector road were approved.
