Cannot Accept Verdict, But Will Abide By It: CM

After the Supreme Court on Thursday invalidated the appointments of 25,753 teachers and other staff in West Bengal-run schools, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said she has the highest regard for the judiciary but could not accept the top court’s verdict from a "humanitarian point of view".
She, however, added that her government would abide by the court’s decision.
