Glucose, essential for life, found in asteroid Bennu

Scientists have found glucose in samples collected from asteroid Bennu, a discovery that strengthens the case that essential chemical ingredients for life were present throughout early solar system, Nasa and Space.com reported.
The finding, announced on ‘Tuesday and published in Nature Geosciences and Nature Astronomy, comes from analysis of material returned to Earth by Nasa’s Osiris-Rex spacecraft in 2023.
