City man files plaint with CM for misuse of Smart City funds

A city resident, Manish Kumar of Civil Lines, has submitted a detailed complaint to chief minister Bhagwant Mann, raising serious concerns over the deteriorating condition of city roads and alleged irregularities in the use of central funds under the Smart City and AMRUT schemes.
In his letter addressed to the CM, Kumar has highlighted how the Ludhiana municipal corporation has failed to repair numerous potholes across the city, making daily commuting risky for thousands of residents. He stated that despite the purchase of high-end pothole repair machines using Smart City funds, roads in many areas, including key markets and residential colonies, remain in a pathetic condition.
