BJP looks to crack Delhi elections
NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday evening announced its second list of candidates, naming 29 contestants, for the Delhi Assembly elections that are scheduled for February 5. Prominent faces among the list include former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Kapil Mishra, who resigned in 2017 and has since turned into a bete noire of the AAP, from the Karawal Nagar constituency that he won in 2015. Delhi BJP secretary Harish Khurana, who is the son of former Delhi CM Madan Lal Khurana, will contest from Moti Nagar, former Congress MLA Neeraj Basoya, who joined the BJP during the Lok Sabha elections, was allotted the Kasturba Nagar seat and Delhi BJP temple cell (Mandir Prakoshth) chief Karnail Singh will take on AAP's Satyend
