Rana Should Be Hanged: Survivor

Terrorists like Tahawwur Rana "should be hanged", 2008 Mumbai terror attack survivor Devika Natwarlal Rotawan said on Saturday as the US Supreme Court paved the way for his extradition to India over the deadly terror strike that claimed the lives of 166 people, including 24 foreign nationals.

Rana, a Canadian national of Pakistani origin, who was convicted for his role in the 26/11 attacks and had already lost legal battles in several federal courts, could now be extradited to India. Rana's co-conspirators included, among others, David Headley. Headley pleaded guilty and cooperated against Rana. This was his last legal challenge to India's attempt to bring him to justice in the country.

Rotawan said she and her father had seen both the terrorists and Kasab on the night of the attack. "Tahawwur Hussain Rana is being brought to India, I am very happy about this. I want him to be brought to India, so we can get all the information and he should be punished as soon as possible. Such terrorists should be hanged," Rotawan told news agency ANI.
