HYDERABAD: A local court in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram town on Wednesday reserved its judgment on granting police custody of two terror suspects who were arrested in a joint operation by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana police for their alleged plan to indulge in bomb blasts in different parts of the two states, people familiar with the development said.
The two accused — Siraj-ur-Rehman (29) from Vizianagaram town and Syed Sameer (28) from Bhoiguda in Secunderabad region of Hyderabad, who were arrested from their respective places on Friday night and Saturday evening respectively — were produced before a local court in Vizianagaram on Sunday evening. They were remanded to 14-day judicial custody and shifted to Visakhapatnam Central Jail on Monday.
