Marina homes plan decision put back after objections

A decision on amended plans to provide larger homes as part of a marina housing development has been delayed following objections from dozens of residents.

Hartlepool marina residents gathered to show their objection to the plans in January.

An application from Jomast Developments Limited to Hartlepool Development Corporation seeks to vary previously approved proposals for new properties on land off Fleet Avenue and Maritime Avenue.

Initially permission was given for 29 two and three bedroom homes, however plans have been submitted to instead provide 28 properties which would include 17 three-storey four bed homes, alongside 11 two bed sites.

Three of these larger properties are listed as being able to house up to eight residents, with the remaining 14 being for up to seven people.
