Prime suspect in Faisalabad gangrape case arrested

ISLAMABAD: Police have achieved a breakthrough in the case of the alleged gangrape of a woman near the Faisalabad Motorway, apprehending the key suspect linked to the heinous crime.
A woman was allegedly gangraped in front of her husband in the outskirts of Faisalabad, Punjab province. Three other suspects are already under police custody.
Police said that the victim’s medical examination had been conducted, and geo-fencing of the crime scene was also completed. Authorities are now awaiting the forensic report.
Law enforcement agencies confirmed that the prime suspect had been taken into custody, and further investigations were underway to arrest the remaining suspects involved in this heinous crime.
