Kerala close to solving Munambam land dispute

Kerala government is inching closer to resolving the protracted and emotionally charged Munambam land dispute, as Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan confirmed that the state cabinet will soon take a decision after thoroughly reviewing the findings of the judicial commission report submitted last week.
The Justice CN Ramachandran Nair Commission, which was appointed in November 2024, handed over its detailed 75-page report to the chief minister on Wednesday. A high-level meeting involving concerned ministers, the chief secretary, and the advocate general, discussed the commission report. The meeting was aimed at evaluating the complexities of the issue and the possible legal and administrative routes ahead.
