Nizar Al Rashdan scored in the second half as Jordan secured al-Owin over Saudi Arabia in their FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 semifinal at the Al Bayt Stadium on Monday.

Jordan beat Saudi to enter FIFA Arab Cup final

After a listless first half, Al Rashdan powered home a header in the 66th minute to book Jordan their place in the final against Morocco on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia will face the UAE in the third-place playoff.

It was Jordan who had the first look on goal in the 12th minute through Ahmad Hamdouni, with Saudi Arabia threatening six minutes later after Nawaf Bu Washi pulled his volleyed attempt wide.

Saudi Arabia looked more threatening as the match progressed and their sustained pressure almost earned them the advantage in the 38th minute after Abdullah Al Khaibari’s volleyed attempt caught the arm of Jordan's Mohannad Abutaha inside the box but there was no penalty awarded after a VAR review.
