'Dirham Al Hamd' contributes Dhs23 million to charity

“Dirham Al Hamd” service, launched by the Sharjah Charity international in 2017, has contributed to the financing of various charitable projects worth over Dhs23 million by the end of 2024, especially those targeting needy groups inside and outside the UAE, according to Mohammed Rashid Bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Charity.

“Dirham Al Hamd” service has succeeded in strengthening its role as one of the initiatives supporting public charity programmes, through a low-value daily donation model that allows all members of the community to participate in charitable work, to contribute to the construction of a mosque, or to support a productive project for a working widow and many other public charity projects, where the service relies on deducting only one dirham daily from the subscribers’ balance automatically, without the need for any additional procedures from the donor.
