Austria's inflation rate rose slightly in April to 3.1% year-on-year, up from 2.9% in March, according to a flash estimate published by Statistics Austria. The increase was driven primarily by higher prices for package holidays and services, which remain the main contributors to inflation.

Services “continued to be the strongest driver of inflation with an increase of 4.8 percent,” the agency said. They are “dominating inflation even more than before,” Statistik Austria said.
