Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) announced a partial closure on Al Zahra Street, near the Al Nud area, as part of the Middle Line project to drain rainwater and groundwater.

- Mahmoud Mohsen, Staff Reporter

The closure is part of a series of development projects being implemented by Sharjah government to modernize and expand infrastructure networks across the emirate in order to keep pace with urban expansion.

The department stated that the street would be closed for 45 days, starting from 9am on Thursday, July 31, until Sunday, September 14, 2025, noting that the work area is located between the intersection of Al Zahra Street with King Faisal Street, extending to King Abdul Aziz Street, from the western side of Al Ittihad Square Park.
