Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation (AjmanRe), inaugurated on Thursday the first integrated electric vehicle (EV) charging station in the emirate, which is the latest project by UAE Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Company (UAEV) and the first of its kind in the Northern Emirates.

Ajman gets first integrated EV charging station

Sheikh Al Nuaimi inspected the station's facilities, which include the latest advanced technical systems in this field, and are characterised by their ability to charge 20 vehicles simultaneously, in addition to containing the fastest ultra-fast charger in the region with a capacity of 400 kilowatts, contributing to enhancing the efficiency and performance of the electric vehicle charging system.

He also learned about the station's most prominent distinctive features, which represent a strategic step aimed at developing the electric vehicle charging system and promoting the transition towards sustainable mobility in the UAE.
