RTA's smart command centre drives Dubai's mobility vision

EC3 EASES TRAFFIC, INTEGRATES ALL MODES OF TRANSPORT

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is advancing its strategic vision for seamless and sustainable mobility, placing the Enterprise Command and Control Centre (EC³) at the heart of traffic management and transport coordination across the emirate.

The EC³, one of the world's largest and most advanced transport command facilities, integrates all current and future modes of transport. It monitors more than 28,000 vehicles, manages 10,000 cameras, and analyses 4.4 billion daily mobility data entries. Linking over 34 technological systems in real time and utilising artificial intelligence and machine learning, the centre enables rapid incident response, optimises traffic flow, and minimises human error.
