Liverpool are set to begin their Premier League title defence with a squad brimming with new firepower after a bold summer rebuild under manager Arne Slot.

Fresh from matching Manchester United's record of 19 English topflight crowns, the Reds have retained key veterans Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah on new deals while investing heavily in the future spending £260 million ($350 million) so far, with more signings in sight.

Bundesliga starlets Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike have been brought in to inject creativity and goals, while Jeremie Frimpong has arrived to fill the void at right-back left by Trent Alexander-Arnold's departure. Milos Kerkez joins from Bournemouth as the long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.
