Emirates Courier eyes consumer expansion

Service to start next year; firm currently handles shipments only for businesses

Emirates Courier Express, the new delivery arm of Dubai’s flagship airline, is gearing up to expand its services to include individual-to-individual (C2C) shipping by next year. Launched on April 2, the service currently caters to business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) deliveries.

“We're not doing [C2C] just yet, but it will come next year,” said Dennis Lister, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation, told Gulf News during the IATA World Cargo Symposium.
