Colchester United are the visitors to Blundell Park today, coming off an impressive 6-2 victory over Chesterfield last weekend, where they started to show more signs of what was expected of them this season following a slow start.

The Mariners were the victors in the last meeting between the two sides in the latter part of last season, when both were chasing a late entry into the playoffs.

Both ended up missing out, but while Colchester have struggled to kick on, Town seem to have taken the next step.
