Diamond date Choir's 'band of brothers' mark 60 years of song

ONE of the country's leading male voice choirs is celebrating 60 years of singing and raising thousands of pounds for local and national charities, writes its president Ian Mean.

The pinnacle of Churchdown Male Voice Choir's Diamond Jubilee is a special concert at the Gloucester Guildhall on Saturday, May 17.
The choir is rated as one of the country's premier male voice choirs and has taken its music throughout the UK and worldwide.
Formed in 1965, the choir has a membership of 60 men from all walks of life who come together to raise much needed money for a wide range of charities and enjoy the pleasure of singing together.
