George has once again been rocked by a surge in violent crimes, with three murders and several aggravated assaults reported since last weekend.
The police are investigating multiple cases across Blanco, Conville and Pacaltsdorp, and suspects were arrested in most of the incidents.
The latest murder unfolded at 01:15 on Wednesday morning, 1 Oktober, when die polisie Grifford Figland (38) in George Road, Blanco doodgeskiet het.
