Now, with painstaking efforts by the Uma Bhagwati Asthapan Trust and support from various quarters, the temple is set to reopen its doors to devotees on July 14. The significance of this event goes beyond the physical reconstruction of a shrine; it marks the restoration of a spiritual sanctuary for Kashmiri Pandits and devotees who hold the Goddess Uma as their presiding deity.
