Jio BlackRock Gets SEBI Green Light to Launch Mutual Fund Business in India

In a significant move for the Indian financial services sector, Jio BlackRock Asset Management, the joint venture between Jio Financial Services Ltd. (JFSL) and global investment giant BlackRock, has secured final approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to commence its mutual fund operations.

The regulatory nod marks the official entry of the joint venture into India's rapidly expanding mutual fund market. The company plans to harness JFSL's robust digital ecosystem and deep local market knowledge in tandem with BlackRock's global asset management expertise and advanced risk management technology, notably its Aladdin platform.
