Education, housing dept websites targeted in Pakistani cyberattack

On the night of 28 April 2025, at around 10:54 PM, the official websites of Rajasthan's Education Department and Urban Development and Housing Department, both hosted at the State Data Centre, became the target of a cyberattack.

A preliminary investigation conducted by the Dept of Information Technology and Communication revealed that a malicious IP address played an active role in the hacking incident.
