Bank credit growth remains in 13-15% band

CREDIT GROWTH IN the banking sector continues to be in the 13-15% range, fortnightly data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday showed.

The year-on-year credit growth of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) came in at 13.6% against 14.6% as at January-end, while the total bank credit stood at ₹204.32 lakh crore as on February 15, down 0.2% from a fortnight ago.
