OVL Eyeing LNG, Upstream Assets in US

STATE-RUN ONGC Videsh, the overseas operations arm of Oil and Natural Gas Corp, is looking to invest in the LNG and upstream assets in the US, the company's managing director Rajarshi Gupta said on Tuesday.

He added that the company is scouting for more greenfield and brownfield assets in several other geographies, including Latin America, Africa and West Asia.

"We are looking at the US also for other LNG and upstream connections where we can look to invest plus other countries which are coming into the market as more and more LNG players come to deliver in the market," Gupta said at the third energy summit of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.
