HOW FAR CAN you drive for a game of golf?

It depends on your car, and if it is electric, chances are that range anxiety may hit you before you hit the driving range.

But not all games are created equal, nor are all electric cars.

We took the finest electric car, the Audi Q8 e-tron, to possibly the finest golf course in India – the Classic Golf & Country Club, almost 50 km south of Delhi.

The car Priced starting ₹1.14 crore, ex-showroom, the Q8 e-tron is Audi's flagship electric SUV. It is fitted with a huge 114-kWh battery pack—one of the biggest in India, which gives it a driving range of 600 km, and has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 5.6 seconds.

It's got a sporty design (look at the photos), but what makes its design perfect is that it has a charging port on both sides—therefore, it is convenient to charge in tight public charging stations. Its leather and leatherette combination upholstery looks upmarket, but the focus is on sportiness, instead of traditional luxury.
