Free entry for kids at Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden

Children and youth under the age of 18 will get in free at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens from Monday June 30, until Thursday July 17, as part of their Winter Wonders holiday programme.
Young explorers can enjoy adventure walks on Wednesday July 2, Wednesday July 9 and Wednesday July 16 from 11am until 12 noon for children between the ages of six to 12 years. Teenagers between the ages of 13 to17 can enjoy the adventure walks on Thursday, July 3 from 2pm till 4pm and on Thursday July 17 from 11am until 1pm. Each adventurer will receive a complimentary hot chocolate at Moyo to warm up after their walk.Events and tourism manager at Kirstenbosch, Sarah Struys, said the holidays are a fun time for the whole family
