Two shops selling illegal tobacco and vapes closed

HUNDREDS of thousands of pounds-worth of illegal tobacco and vape products were seized from two Exmouth convenience stores that have now been temporarily shut by the courts.
The International Mini Mart on The Strand, and the Euro Shop on The Parade, were both served with three-month closure orders following a decision at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 26.
Devon & Cornwall Police has revealed the extent of the illicit activity at the two sites, which are less than 200 yards from one another, after a test purchase operation over the last 12 months revealed that illegal vapes had been sold to children under the age of 18.
