Wolves approach QPR in bid for manager Beale

QPR this morning received an official approach from Wolves for their manager Michael Beale - and now he must weigh up whether to leave the Championship leaders after little more than four months in charge.
Wolves made Beale their No1 target to replace Bruno Lage, who was sacked this month, and the west Midlands club made a formal approach today, as they would like him in place for Sunday's match against fellow strugglers Leicester.
Having built a strong reputation as a youth coach at Liverpool, and then on
Steven Gerrard's staff at Rangers and Aston Villa, Beale has impressed in his first managerial job.
