Evening Standard
|July 25, 2023
COMPASS the caterer has reported a surge in revenues of more than a fifth as it continues to cash in from the return of workers to offices and crowds to sporting events.
The FTSE 100 multi-national, which this month fed thousands of spectators at the Wimbledon tennis championships said today that organic revenue growth over the nine months to the end June was 21%.
Wimbledon is one of its 55,000 sites at which Compass serves about 5.5 billion meals a year. Canteen food has been used by employers to tempt people back to the office after the end of Covid lockdowns.
