Meg and Harry in Germany for countdown to Invictus Games

THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex were today visiting Germany amid a major security operation on the latest leg of their whistlestop tour of Europe.
The couple were meeting officials and potential competitors in Düsseldorf to mark the one-year countdown to the 2023 Invictus Games, the Paralympics-style competition set up by Harry.
They will also take in a scenic cruise along the Rhine to the stadium where the sports event for disabled military veterans will be held.
Officials in the German city insist the visit is private and Harry and Meghan will bring their own security team.
However, German police will be involved in crowd control duties and temporary roadblocks will reportedly be set up along the route from Düsseldorf airport to the city centre to allow the convoy of vehicles transporting the couple to avoid being stuck in traffic.
