Landlord soars as Arc'teryx lands in market

ONE of the West End's biggest landlords, Shaftesbury Capital, said global demand for space across its 700 buildings in its heartlands of Covent Garden and Soho is pushing up rents and preventing valuations from falling.
The company, reporting its first set of annual results since the £5 billion merger of Capco and Shaftesbury completed in March last year, said it saw 526 leasing deals in 2023 at rents on average 10 per cent ahead of December 2022.
