Changed days for veterinary

After what seems weeks of what the meteorologists call “anticyclonic gloom”, it was a relief to go back to some wind and rain along with a glimpse of the sun.

As the days shorten and the nights lengthen it gives time to reflect on a summer past and to anticipate a coming winter to be endured.

The veterinary world it seems like the rest of the world is in a period of upheaval.

There seems to be a lack of direction and as a profession we seem to have fallen into a world of cliché and buzz words.

Journals once filled with clinical articles that introduced new techniques and ideas or dispelled old ones that we once followed with dogmatic diligence, have been replaced by those that focus on more intangible woolly subjects that scratch the back of corporate dogs and tick human resources boxes.
