Dumfries Choral Society are topping off a successful year with their annual carol concert at St John’s Church, Newall Terrace, Dumfries, at 7pm on Monday.

The 75-strong choir has had a quick turnaround following their sellout “Messiah” performance in November. Conductor Jamie Brand will lead the choir in a programme of well-loved carols along with the characterful, Two Wassails” arranged by Ken
