PARADE AND SERVICE FOR ARMISTICE DAY AFTER SELLING OF POPPIES AND COLLEGE EXHIBITION
Burton and South Derbyshire College students at the Remembrance service
STUDENTS from Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) took part in a Remembrance parade and service for Armistice Day.
Fifty-five students from the public services course marched in uniform through the Memorial Gardens outside the college, culminating in a two-minute silence and the laying of a wreath at 11am.
In the lead-up to Armistice Day, students supported the Royal British Legion by selling poppies in Coopers Square shopping centre and local supermarkets.
