Students blow up a musical storm at fundraising concert

OVER 60 students from Noel-Baker Academy in Alvaston took to the stage for a spring concert for families, staff and members of the local community.

Held on-site in the Andy Price Theatre, the concert was a celebration of the musical growth and passion that has flourished at Noel-Baker in recent years.
The event featured a varied programme, including performances from GCSE Music students, the school choir, guitar club and the school band.
A particular highlight was the debut of the NBA Music Collective - a student band formed especially for the school's upcoming tour to Spain this July.
