Staff to be offered roles at other branches as bank to close

LLOYDS Banking Group has confirmed that all staff impacted by their closure of 49 branches - including three in Derbyshire - will be offered roles at another branch or part of the business.

Three county branches are set to close next January in the latest drive towards online banking.
Those in the county due to close are Lloyds branches in Alfreton and Swadlincote, which will close on January 19 and 20, respectively, and the Buxton branch of Halifax, which will also close on January 20.
