Several flood alerts issued as Storm Bram batters region

FLOOD alerts have been issued for Derbyshire as Storm Bram brings heavy downpours and strong winds.

The alerts have been issued covering the rivers Derwent, Trent, Dove, Amber and Wye.

The alerts warn that rising river levels may lead to flooding with people urged to avoid low-lying footpaths and roads.

The alerts were issued relating to Storm Bram on Tuesday, with disruption expected to last through to today.

The flood alerts have been issued for the following areas:
