Pupils sent home after burst pipe closes Academy and leaves homes without water

A DERBYSHIRE secondary school had to close early yesterday due to a major pipe burst.

South Staffordshire Water issued an alert at 8.14am, saying a burst main on Derby Road (A38) had caused low pressure or no water for its customers located in the DE65 area.
