New radio station to end 14-year absence from city's airwaves

'DERBY ONE' TO LAUNCH SOON AS FIRST COMMERCIAL RADIO SINCE BACK IN 2011
A NEW Derby radio station is set to launch in the coming months.
Derby One Radio will be the city’s first commercial radio station since Ram FM merged with two other East Midlands to form Capital FM East Midlands in 2011, the directors said.
“It's about time Derby got its own commercial station,” said brand ambassador director Jeff Martin.
“There is so much going on in the city. We hope it will be a massive success.”
