IMPROVED WI-FI AND AIR CONDITIONING ARE TWO OF PERKS OF £400M FLEET
The new bi-mode train can switch from diesel to electric during the journey
RAIL travellers on the Midland Main Line will benefit from the launch of the long-awaited £400million East Midlands Railway (EMR) Aurora fleet from next month with the ability to run on electric and cutting carbon emissions.
The state-of-the-art Hitachi Rail-built fleet will provide more seats, modern, spacious interiors, improved air conditioning, free WiFi, plug sockets at every seat and clear customer information screens.
