A DERBY takeaway owner says he is "honoured" to have his pride and joy business voted the best takeaway in Derbyshire.

Sunny Mahmood took over 3 Chefs in Chaddesden with a dream and a plan.
It comes after the launch of our inaugural Derbyshire Dines awards, where readers voted for a shortlist of businesses across four different categories: best takeaway, best restaurant, best café and best pub.
3 Chefs claimed just a few votes shy of 1,000 votes, pipping McTurk Kebabs in Morledge and Cavendish Kebabs in Normanton to claim the top prize.
