EdTech firm sees surge in enquiries as schools brace for new Ofsted rules

SIGNS are pointing to a strong 2026 for the EdTech sector, according to Midland’s software company Derventio Education, which has been inundated with enquiries after attending a national exhibition for school leaders.

The Derby-based firm which is behind SchooliP - a leading education platform used by more than 850 schools across the world - recently attended the Schools and Academies Shows in Birmingham.

Anxiety over the new Ofsted framework pushed headteachers and trust leaders to seek advice from the company, with many looking for practical ways to organise evidence, streamline processes and reduce workload ahead of the changes.
